This project aimed to provide a secure, high-performance network infrastructure for the hospital, enabling efficient operations, improved patient care, and enhanced communication among staff. The scope of the project included the implementation of a comprehensive structured cabling system and a robust Wi-Fi network, ensuring reliable data connectivity throughout the facility.
Project Deliverables
- 20 WiFi Access Points: To provide WiFi Coverage in the Hospital premises.
- 130 Network Nodes: For the Local Area Network of the Offices.
- 12 Managed Switches: Facilitates data transmission between the devices connected throughout the network.
- 1 Core Router: Manages all the traffic from the WiFi as well as the devices connected to the network
Project Scope
- Managed WiFi
- Access Point Installation: Strategic placement of high-performance access points throughout the facility to ensure optimal coverage and signal strength.
- Network Infrastructure: Layout, installation, and termination of conduits, cables, and network cabinets to support the WiFi system.
- Hotspot Configuration: Setup and customization of the Unifi Controller for hotspot system management, including user authentication, access control, and bandwidth allocation.
- Testing and Commissioning: Rigorous testing and commissioning of the WiFi network to ensure optimal performance and functionality.
- Structured Cabling
- Infrastructure Layout: Design and implementation of a structured cabling system to support data transmission throughout the facility.
- Equipment Installation: Mounting of network cabinets and junction terminals for equipment housing and organization.
- Network Configuration: Basic configuration of switches with IP addresses to establish network connectivity.
- Testing and Commissioning: Thorough testing of the structured cabling system to verify proper functionality and performance.
